2021 is the year of the E80

2021 looks more and more like being the year of the E80, our first electric vehicle, born more than ten years ago.

The first piece of news concerns the design of the E80, a real restyling that will make the vehicle more and more the ideal ally with which to tackle city traffic on a daily basis.

But the real innovation, the one that marks the return of the hydrogen range, is the return of the H80, the hydrogen-powered 8-metre bus, which will start testing in the summer and be officially presented next autumn.

For us, this is a return to the design and production of zero-emission vehicles, and since the beginning of the year we have become one of the members of H2IT, an association that promotes the advancement of knowledge and the study of disciplines relating to technologies and systems for the production and use of hydrogen.

In this way, we further express our commitment as active advocates of sustainable mobility.

The E80 from 2010 to date

From 2010 to the present day, the E80 has become even more autonomous in terms of its battery and has always renewed itself to be a vehicle that is in step with the times and adapted to the needs of users and the territory.

The 8-metre electric bus is an urban transport vehicle considered ideal for travelling through Italian and European city centres, thanks - as mentioned - to its autonomy, manoeuvrability and agility, which are given by its dimensions and at the same time by its structural design, which makes it possible to transport 48 passengers.

The electric bus range

The E80 Electric is part of our electric bus range together with the E60, a 6 m minibus, small on the outside but large and spacious on the inside.

Available in 2- or 3-door versions, the E80 was the first electric bus we built and after years of testing, it has been sold since 2010 both in Italy and in several European countries such as Germany, Austria, Spain, France and Greece.
